"Hygge" Getting Cozy: A mini-retreat for your soul
Friday Nov 17 9:30-2:30pm
It's getting colder and darker outside, let's warm up inside.
Hygge is defined as "a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being, as described as a defining characteristic of Danish culture." Sign me up! Our winter theme invites you to create coziness in your heart and soul as well as for your body and spirit. Let's dive into making this applicable to our Northwest, responsibility filled way of living. Join us for a morning and afternoon of discovering just what that can mean for you. Let's unplug from our duties and pay attention to what must be nourished and honored. Your five-hour Hygge mini-retreat offers yoga, community, guided meditation, creativity, reflection, ritual, 1:1 with Aubrey & Jenny and much more.
Let's gather in community so we can emerge rejuvenated and inspired by taking the time to nourish our body, mind and soul.
Aubrey shares her knowledge of breath, body awareness, play and tips to roll out tight places in your body. She hopes that you will walk away feeling more focused on the things that bring you joy and more connected to your body. Jenny holds space for you to replenish as you learn tools that you can use daily to align and refill. She believes your wisdom is waiting within and she is excited for you to tap into it.

Jenny Gwinn McGlothern, founder and owner of Mama Needs a Refill, a retreat and life coaching business, has been leading retreats since 2010 and believes that you can't pour from an empty cup. As she began to make her own needs a priority by filling her own cup, first, she became a Certified Transformational Master Life Coach in 2012. She was Lead Facilitator from 2013 to 2019 at Seattle Life Coach Training, has been the onsite coach at the famous Golden Door spa in California, continues to coach her private clientele around the world by phone, and loves creating retreats and workshops for the needs of the attendees. She created a mindfulness tool – The Anchored Deck – which you can find at www.mamaneedsarefill.com.
I am a believer in caring for our soul and that is what I refer to as our cup. This is what matters in life, this is where the juiciness dwells. If this journey of coaching, training, guiding and facilitating a thousand or more souls while nurturing my own has taught me anything it has opened my eyes to the realization that as mothers we get to care for our needs and when we do so the entire family benefits. As women, we get to teach our children the vital necessity of practicing soul care. And as human beings, we collectively are a ripple of love, joy, and peace when we value and prioritize our needs, dreams, goals, and desires.
