Giving & Receiving
Friday Nov 14 9-2:30pm

As autumn invites us to slow down and reflect, this sack lunch mini yoga day retreat, offers a sacred space to explore the delicate balance between offering and accepting. Through guided practices, heartfelt conversation, and moments of quiet renewal, we’ll uncover the power of generosity—not just in what we give to others, but in how we allow ourselves to receive. Whether it’s a kind word, a shared silence, or a nourishing meal, every exchange becomes a doorway to deeper connection. Join us for a day of restoration, reciprocity, and soulful presence.

Holiday season is upon us which can bring up all sorts of feelings. Before kicking off the season, how about plugging in to you and receiving first? Give yourself space to breathe, and to hear your own thoughts. Join us as we move our bodies with gentle-powerful yoga, meditate, practice ritual, honor silence, creativity and community.

Meet Aubrey & Jenny — Guides of Renewal and Connection Since joining forces in 2021, Aubrey and Jenny have been weaving their unique gifts into transformative retreats that invite deep connection, healing, and joy. Together, they create sacred spaces where laughter, tears, silence, and movement coexist—offering a sanctuary from the chaos of everyday life.

Aubrey brings playful wisdom through breathwork, body awareness, and somatic release. Her teachings help you unlock tension and reconnect with your physical vitality.

Jenny offers grounding practices in stillness, meditation, inquiry, and journaling—guiding you gently inward to uncover your own inner truth and clarity.

In every retreat, they hold space with intention and care, inviting you to rest, reflect, move, and rediscover your authentic refill. Come gather with kindred spirits for five and a half hours of soulful exploration—and leave feeling renewed, recharged, and deeply plugged back into yourself.

Aubrey has a way of uplifting you and making you feel strong, confident, and at peace.

Jenny Gwinn McGlothern, founder and owner of Mama Needs a Refill, a retreat and life coaching business, has been leading retreats since 2010 and believes that you can't pour from an empty cup. As she began to make her own needs a priority by filling her own cup, first, she became a Certified Transformational Master Life Coach in 2012. She was Lead Facilitator from 2013 to 2019 at Seattle Life Coach Training, has been the onsite coach at the famous Golden Door spa in California, continues to coach her private clientele around the world by phone, and loves creating retreats and workshops for the needs of the attendees. She created a mindfulness tool – The Anchored Deck – which you can find at

I am a believer in caring for our soul and that is what I refer to as our cup. This is what matters in life, this is where the juiciness dwells. If this journey of coaching, training, guiding and facilitating a thousand or more souls while nurturing my own has taught me anything it has opened my eyes to the realization that as mothers we get to care for our needs and when we do so the entire family benefits. As women, we get to teach our children the vital necessity of practicing soul care. And as human beings, we collectively are a ripple of love, joy, and peace when we value and prioritize our needs, dreams, goals, and desires.
